Get in Shape, on your Break!!!
A fitness program designed to fit into a lunch break 2 days (45 minute classes) a week for those who want to improve their overall fitness. This class is designed to increase muscular strength, cardio, flexibility, balance, coordination, range of movement and activities for daily living. It includes easy-to-follow, low impact movement, and upper-body strength exercises while listening to your favorite music. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a small ball are offered for resistance. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises which include some yoga postures and tai chi movements.
Modifications will be offered so all fitness levels are welcome.
BRING A MAT OR WE WILL PROVIDE AND SOME FLOOR WORK FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO (not required to participate)**
