2017/2018 Kids Cave Program

Welcome to the 2017/2018 session of the Kids Cave Before & After School Program. The Kids Cave After School Program offers a safe and fun alternative to your child going home to an empty house or babysitter. The Kids Cave Program is open to all K-5th graders within the Bangor School System.

Part Time: If you plan on registering for Part-Time After School, you must come into the Parks & Recreation office to register.

Fees
After School: $65/week; $52/part time (Part-time must register in person)
Before School: $35/week
Before & After School Combo: $95/week
Welcome Week: $110/5 day week
Winter Break, Feb. Break, and Apr. Break: $90/4 day school vacation week
Thanksgiving Break: $30/day; $65/3 day school vacation week
In-Service & Individual Vacation Days: $30/day
Snow Days: $85/all snow days
The Whole Enchilada Package: $3,570 (42 weekly payments of $85) for before & after school, all vacation days, all in-service days, and all snow days

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (pays for the first and last week registered) is required for the before and after school program. A $20 non-refundable deposit is required for vacation weeks.

Payments & Cancellations
Payments is due 10 days prior to the start of the week your child is attending (Does not apply to AutoPay). We reserve the right to remove participants from the program if their account becomes more than 2 weeks past due. All cancellations must be made online or at the Parks & Recreation Office. All refunds will be minus the non-refundable deposit.

Pick-up
Pick-up is from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. You are welcome to pick your child up before this time, but please be aware that we may be in middle of an activity. We ask all parents to stop in at the main office to sign their child out. All participants must be signed out at the end of the day. We assume anyone listed on your registration form has permission to pick up your child. If not or if someone else will be picking up your child, please notify us in writing. Without written permission, we will not release your child to someone not on your list of approved individuals. For safety, IDs will be checked if there are any questions.
All campers must be picked up by 6:00 pm. A late fee of $15 for every 15 minutes late may be charged. Excessive late pick-ups may result in your child being removed from the program.

Please call us if you think you will be running late.

Holidays
Kids Cave is closed on Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving (and the Friday after), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Patriots Day, and Memorial Day.
