Central Maine Twirling Corps and the Bangor Parks and Recreation Department invite YOU to join the performing and award winning 
River City Twirlers! Ages 5-22!
The program is progressive, not repetitive. Class Structure: Each week twirlers will work and build on the basic fundamentals of twirling and marching, and incorporating these fundamentals into individual and team routines. Performances: Twirlers will prepare for local performances in parades and community events as well as competitions, and the annual Central Maine Twirling Corps recital in May. Register anytime online or come into our office at 647 Main Street

Central Maine Twirling Corps fosters the positive values of teamwork, camaraderi, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and physical fitness through promoting and teaching the sport and art of baton twirling to children of all skill levels in a respectful, encouraging, and supportive environment.

  • Session 1 Registration Night Tuesday, September 3 / Drop in from 5:30-7:30 PM
  • Session 2 Registration/Pay Week Night Tuesday, October 15
  • Session 3 Registration/Pay Week Night Tuesday, December 3
  • Session 4 Registration/Pay Week Night Tuesday, January 28
  • Session 5 Registration/Pay Week Night Tuesday, March 17
  • Session 6 Registration/Pay Week Night Tuesday, May 5
  • All new students registering online must also attend registration night (September 3rd).
  • Batons can be purchased on registration night (September 3rd). New batons are $30.00.
  • New students should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers.
  • Experienced twirlers should wear Central Maine Twirling Corps class attire and sneakers or twirling shoes.
  • Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or bun for all levels of the program.
