Youth Wrestling
Bangor Parks and Recreation along with Bangor Area Wrestling, will be offering an introduction to youth folkstyle wrestling for grades K through 8.  Athletes will learn the fundamentals of wrestling through instruction, drilling, and one-on-one matches with other athletes of similar age and weight. The goal is to continue to bring this exciting sport to the Bangor area and develop a robust youth wrestling program where kids can compete, practice good sportsmanship, enjoy camaraderie, and have fun.  

Pre-K - 1st Grade: 
Mondays + Wednesdays
6:00 - 6:45pm

2nd - 8th Grade:
Monday + Wednesdays
6:45 - 8:00pm

The Bangor Parks and Recreation Department and the Youth Wrestling Coaches reserve the right to limit participation in this program in regards to the safety of the participant, safety of the other participant and any actions that hinder the goal of this program which is for preparation for youth competitions, and development of the serious athlete.
